Now that Hieroglyphs of Blood and Bone has been out for a couple weeks, the reviews are starting to come in, the latest by Aaron J Besson on his review blog Hex Libris. Here’s a pull quote:

The excellent Des Lewis is undertaking one of his “real-time reviews” of HIEROGLYPHS OF BLOOD AND BONE.

In these real-time reviews, he offers comments along the way, throughout his reading of a book or story, rather than reading the whole thing then summarizing his thoughts at th end. It’s always interesting to see what Des thinks of a story! Many of the writers I’ve see Laird recommend over the years have ended up becoming some of my own favorites. Though all the names on this latest list are known to me, there are a couple whose work I haven’t read, so I’ll have to remedy that. My thanks to Laird for the endorsement.
