This Is Horror Says Look Out for Armageddon House

This Is Horror says “Look Out for Armageddon House,” part of their series letting their audience know about books coming up.

These features are fun because they include a section of ‘Why we’re excited about this book’ along with a section from the author about why they’re excited about the book.

Their attention-grabber quote up top is:

“With mounting tension and claustrophobic paranoia, Griffin’s latest effort promises to send readers on a unsettling and disturbing ride.”

If you want to read the rest of what they (and I) have to say about Armageddon House take a look here.

Look Out For … Armageddon House by Michael Griffin

My thanks to Michael David Wilson and Bob Pastorella who have always made This Is Horror a great resource for fans of horror and the weird! I appreciate them giving a boost to my book.

This Is Horror Raves About The Human Alchemy

Paul Michaels raves about The Human Alchemy for This Is Horror.

“The Human Alchemy is a thing of beauty, a showcase for a writer who is in possession of a startling array of skills.”

Paul gives the book a careful look, discussing every story in the collection at some length. It’s the most detailed and positive review The Human Alchemy has received so far! My thanks to Paul and This Is Horror for the coverage.

This Is Horror Interview Pt. 1

The first part of my interview with Michael David Wilson and Bob Pastorella of This Is Horror is now available for everyone, not just Patreon contributors, HERE.

The whole conversation was a lot of fun, and this represents just the first half, so there will be more in another week our so. In this part we talk about focusing on creative work, and sometimes taking a break from it, differences between music-making and writing, and the nuts and bolts of assembling a short story collection… among other things.

This Is Horror Interview Coming Up

A couple weeks back, I spent a few hours recording an interview with Michael David Wilson and Bob Pastorella for their This Is Horror Podcast.

This Is Horror Patreon subscribers will have earlier access to the interview, while everybody else will get part one on Monday June 25 and part two on Monday July 2. I’ll post direct links when those are generally available, but for now you can check out the podcast HERE.

If you’re a Patron subscriber, you can start HERE. I had a lot of fun recording this interview, and want to thank Michael and Bob. The podcast is always worth a listen, so it was fun to have my chance to participate.

Questions For This Is Horror Interview

Tomorrow morning I’ll be recording an interview with Michael David Wilson and Bob Pastorella for their This Is Horror podcast. I’ve been a fan of their podcast for quite a while and have listened to most of the 200-plus episodes.

If you’re a contributor to the This is Horror Patreon account, you can submit questions for me, if you do it today. One of my favorite parts of these interviews, as a listener, is the audience-submitted questions, so I hope there will be at least a few for my interview.

A direct link to their post asking for questions is HERE. I look forward to chatting with Michael and Bob, and will be sure to let everyone know once the interview is available to their Patreon subscribers, and again a bit later when it’s available to non-subscribers.
